Gold Jewellery Care

Over time, gold and platinum jewellery loses its shine with everyday wear.
We recommend professional clean every six months to once per year. Our setter will check over your settings and our jewellers will clean and polish your jewellery to its original shine.

Gold-responsive

To keep your jewellery sparkling in the meantime, gently polish it with a jeweller’s cloth. A simple homemade solution of warm water with mild dishwashing detergent and a soft toothbrush can also help keep your jewellery clean.

White gold jewellery requires periodical Rhodium plating.
White gold without plating has a grey to yellow undertone and Rhodium gives it a flawless white look. We offer same day service on Rhodium plating. Before your rings are plated, they are also checked by our setter for loose settings or worn claws.

Platinum is a naturally white metal and doesn’t need any plating. we recommend periodical check, clean and polish to keep your ring shiny. Care of your platinum jewellery at home is the same as gold jewellery.

Delivery and Returns

Shipping

Postage is FREE for all Australian customers, please contact us for international orders.
All orders within Australia will be shipped via Australia Post (Express satchels with tracking and signature on delivery).

Most deliveries within Australia are over night if you are located in major cities, but please allow more time if you live in the country, as we cannot control Australia Post delivery time frames.

Contact us on  (+61) 7 3368 1614 or sales@bentleydelisle.com.au if you are located overseas. International deliveries are sent via Australia Post or Fedex and delivery times and cost are subject to local destination formalities, please contact us for pricing.

Order processing:

All custom made orders will be shipped within 15 working days from the completion of the order.
We will do everything in our power to process all orders with this time period, however, should we encounter any delays, we will contact you with an estimated completion date.
To inquire about the progress of your order please contact us on 07 3368 1614 (Mon – Fri 9am – 5:30pm and Saturday 9am – 4pm).

Regular orders (items in stock) will be shipped within 24 hours.
If you have an urgent order (last minute gift), please contact us so we can arrange to prioritize your order, or if you need to receive your package on a particular day we will do our best to assist you.

Returns & Exchange

We hope your purchase has exceeded your expectations, but if for some reason you are not satisfied, you may return or exchange your order within 14 days of delivery (we cannot exchange or refund custom made pieces).

The items you are returning must be in an original unworn condition, with original packaging and certificates (if any) and are subject to inspection by our jewellers.
Prior to returning your item/s, you must notify our team on 07 3368 1614 or email us on sales@bentleydelisle.com.au with your order reference number and the reason for returning your item/s and to confirm the correct credit information.
Once confirmed, your item/s can be returned to the address below for a full refund or exchange of the full purchase amount.

BDL is not responsible for loss or damage of items during return shipment, we recommend using Australia Post Express satchels with tracking and signature on delivery.
Please provide us with a tracking number for a safe return of your goods.

– The item/s arrives to us damaged due to careless packaging
– The customer has supplied us with an incorrect finger size
– The jewellery was custom made
– Loss of jewellery whilst being returned
