Our custom made process
Design and stones
Bring your own ideas or let us help you design the jewellery you have always dreamed of. Sit down with our jewellers and discuss the design, metals, stones and your budget.
We will source a selection of Diamonds or gemstones for you to choose from or you may already have a stone for your new design already.
3D drawing
Once you are happy with the concept of the design and chose the Diamond or gemstone you like, our drawer will draw your piece in 3D, with the dimensions of all stones and Diamonds to scale. The 3D technology allows you to see all the details of your new design in an over sized render image, before we commence making the ring. This is also a good time to talk about any small changes to the design.
Crafting your ring
Your ring will pass through several hands of our drawers, jewellers and setters.
We can share the images of the process with you to make it more exciting, or you can pop in and see the ring in making, while we are crafting it.
Our turnaround is noramlly within 15 working days, but we will work with you if you have a tight deadline.
Collection and aftercare
Your brand new jewel will be ready for collection in a beautiful box.
Our service is free, so you can bring it back anytime (we recommend once per year) so we can check all settings, clean, polish and if necessary rhodium plate your ring.
We can organize insurance with Q Report before you leave, so your jewellery is insured straight away. If you have your own insurance organized, we will provide a valuation certificate.

FAQ
Stones
We will source the perfect stones or Diamonds for your design. You can also bring your stones and get creative with us. If your stones are scuffed or chipped we can have them re-polished locally by our gem cutter.
3D drawing
We will endeavor to present you with your 3D drawing as fast as possible, but if our workload or your design is very complex, it may take us up to 7 days to complete it.
Creation
Our turnaround is usually 15 working days. If we need to source unique gemstones, this time frame may change, but we will work with you if you have a tight deadline.
Payment
We require 20% deposit on all custom designs, before we commence your work. The balance is due on collection, but you can make as many payments during the time we are crafting your piece.
Aftercare
All Bentley De Lisle jewellery is serviced free of charge, including rhodium plating. We will remind you yearly to bring your jewellery back.
