When two rings become one
Jill came to us with a specific design in mind, wanting a triple cluster ring with a pear shape diamond center.
We have used the small diamonds from one band for the cluster effect and a large round brilliant from the other band.
We then sources another round brilliant and pear center diamond from our suppliers and crafted her stunning ring.
I absolutely adore my ring, I’ve already had so many compliments. It feels so solid and fits perfectly. It’s everything I was expecting and more.Jill

Our happy customers
Very special and sentimental makeover
“We have to give a stellar review for this jeweler. We had been looking for years to have an anniversary ring for my wife. We tried a place 8 years ago, and were not happy with the results, then another about 9 months ago but the ring did not come out as planned. We then discovered Bentley De Lisle who were another level above any jeweler that we have ever been to. After just 3 weeks they had everything completed and exactly as promised! I give these folks a 10 star rating if it were allowed! My wife is thrilled, and now we have a 20th wedding anniversary beautiful Art Deco ring for her. It really is stunning, perfectly done, and the owners of the shop were amazing to work with. We will recommend them to everyone!!”
Remodelling great grandmother's ring
“Could not speak more highly of my experience! An antique diamond ring of my great grandmother’s was passed down to me and although beautiful, it was bulky and not something I would wear. Tereza and Dave listened, offered feedback and suggestions and were extremely helpful in all aspects from the design, to the sizing and even the timeline of remodelling. I could not be happier with my now beautiful, simple diamond band that they helped me design and will be using them for years to come! The quality of their work and their passion for jewellery and remodelling sentimentally valued pieces is phenomenal.”
Mum's ring to be a part of the new engagement ring
This engagement ring has a very special touch. Charles came to us with the idea of using his mum’s ring for his engagement ring. We have used the old cut diamonds for the shoulders of the new engagement ring and created a small emerald pendant for his mum.
“I have the happiest fiancee after the ring I have had her made from Bentley De Lisle. Fantastic customer service from the outset and throughout.”
Revamped bridal set
This bridal set was very loved, but the design wasn’t exactly what our customer wanted. Once finished, the rings were hand engraved with a message the same as the original set to keep the sentiment.
“Thank you so much to your team! The moment I saw the rings, the feeling is like when Husband proposed to me but extra happy! 😉 The excellent service and attention to detail is just the beginning! am the happiest woman today!”
The dream Art Deco Ruby ring
“Someone once told me that jewellery should be worn- not ‘put’ away. It was a big decision to remodel a very special ring that I could no longer wear. I picked up my old/new ring today and after a few tears of joy were shed, I was able to see the ring I had envisaged for a long time. It’s exquisite! Service was impeccable. Thanks to all, especially David –
I love it!”
Sentimental Art Deco ring
“The ring David created for me was exactly what I wanted. He cleverly used the collection of rings I had included. The little one I had received when we were first married (not an expensive ring but of significant sentimental value) and a small solitaire I had received at the birth of our first child. I love antique jewellery and the vintage style piece that David created is beautiful. They sent me photos of the ring as it was being made which was fascinating and I felt completely comfortable about what was being done.”
Remodelled to last
This ring was losing stones and the citrines and garnet were scuffed, Kathleen liked the design, so we kept it as close as possible with some small changes.
“Thank you so much Bentley De Lisle for my newly remodeled ring. I’m so happy with how it turned out and I’ve fallen in love with it all over again.
I cannot recommend David & Tereza highly enough. I will definitely be back..”
We have put together some questions we get asked most frequently, but if your answer isn’t here, please get in touch, we would love to help you.
My stones are scuffed and chipped, can they be used?
Depending on the extend of the damage and the sentimental value against the cost of re-polishing or replacement, we can certainly use your stones.
In this example we have re-polished this sapphire, which became the star of the new piece.
We use a local gemstone cutter and can quote on re-polishing or re-cutting your gems.
Re-cutting of diamonds is much more specialized and we do not offer this service at this point. There are a few design tricks we can use to hide a chip on your diamond. It will also depend on the extent of the damage and the design the stone is used for.
How long does remodelling take?
Remodelling is very similar to custom made jewellery. The turnaround is about 15 working days, but it also depends on each job. We may need more time if we need to source extra stones or diamonds, have your stones re-cut, or you would like a special hand engraved message or design.
Will I get a jewellery valuation?
Yes we provide jewellery valuation with jewellery we create or remodel. We can also organize an independent valuation through a registered valuer and jewellery insurance through Q Report.
